The First University of Russia (founded by Emperor Peter I in 1724). The university offers more than 400 educational programmes at all levels, from general education to residency, and more than 800 additional educational programmes. The NEFU campus includes not only educational infrastructure – for example, 40 study and laboratory buildings – but also a library, a cultural centre, an athletic arena «Youth», a swimming pool, a ski base, training grounds for industrial practices, a food network and student canteens and, and, of course, comfortable dormitories.

Kazan National Research University of Technology is one of the oldest universities in the capital of Tatarstan. More than 26,000 students and postgraduate students from Russia and foreign countries study at the university.It is 15 educational and research institutes.

For a century and a half history, the university has trained more than 150,000 specialists who work in various spheres of the Russian economy and abroad, becoming talented businessmen and managers.
